Affordable Mole Removal Murrieta
Insurance and Package Pricing

Our mole removal procedures range in price depending on various factors, there is no standard price. These factors include how big the moles are, what area of the body the mole is located on, and how many moles are being removed. We use a tiered pricing structure, so the more moles you get removed the less the price will be for the second mole and third and so on. The Starting price varies from patient to patient, however the final price will be determined at the consultation, after the surgeon examines the mole. Since this is a cosmetic procedure most insurances don’t cover the cost of the treatment. However, we will work with you to create a cash package price that is accommodating for you and your budget.

Our surgeons are Mole Removal Surgeons with years of expertise removing moles and we use the latest technology for scarless results, therefore our pricing is often on the higher end of medical treatments. This is because we offer the best cosmetic results for patients removing moles in sensitive areas, like their face, cheeks and forehead. The face is a very prominent and highly visible area so we take extra precautions to make sure your results are cosmetically appealing. Our healing process mimics the natural healing process of your body ensuring smooth, beautiful results.

Mole Removal Murrieta FAQ

What is the mole removal procedure process at Mole Removal Murrieta?2024-05-13T02:56:13+00:00

We use a superior technology called Radio Frequency Ablation, which is similar to a laser, but more precise. It allows our doctor to remove the mole directly from the root and remove all the surrounding mole cells. This allows for minimal to no scarring and long-term results, the skin lesion is not likely to grow back. We also begin with a comprehensive consultation with our physicians which includes a history & physical and examination of your moles to ensure they are non cancerous and/or not precancerous moles and/or not malignant melanoma . Once your lesion is cleared, we bring you into our state of the art operating room to have the in-office procedure completed. You are always treated by a surgeon who has a medical assistant there to help him make the procedure as efficient as possible. Afterwards, we send you home with a helpful take-home kit that includes detailed after care/post operative instructions and healing creams to make sure the lesion heals smoothly. You also get access to our medical team via a dedicated text line if you have any further questions or need medical advice regarding your procedure!

Is mole removal painful?2024-05-13T02:57:22+00:00

Our mole removal procedure is non-invasive and not painful. We use a local anesthesia to numb the area of the mole before starting the procedure. The anesthesia is administered by injecting the area with a tiny needle. This is meant to ensure the comfort of our patients throughout the procedure. This technique is very similar to the numbing that occurs when you get a cavity treated at a dentist’s office. This local anesthesia, such as lidocaine or lidocaine epinephrine, is a very common and very safe injection used to cause numbness in a localized area of the body. It works by blocking certain nerves in our body and is only administered under the direct supervision of our doctor. The effect is temporary and will wear off in the next several hours. The doctor will make sure that you are not allergic to these medications first, as well. While the procedure is safe for most people, the surgeon will take into special consideration pediatrics, geriatrics and those who are breastfeeding. Most patients who get injected compare the small little injection with that of a mosquito bit or small bug bite. The pinch is extremely minor and therefore offers very little pain. Regardless, our medical team will assist you to make sure you are comfortable the entire time. If you are extremely nervous, you can ask our surgeon about taking some pain medication before your treatment, but please discuss this with our licensed medical professionals before making any decisions.

What is the recovery process for mole removal?2024-04-25T23:35:56+00:00

The recovery process is quick and easy. It usually takes up to two to four  for the area to be fully healed, filled back in with healthy tissue and slowly return back to the color of the skin. Full recovery will continue over the next few months as the treated area will continue to fade in color and match the same skin tone and texture as your surrounding skin tissue. We give our patients a gel recovery cream that they can apply everyday to help speed up the healing process and prevent any kind of scarring. We advise our patients to keep the area of the removal out of direct sunlight for at least a week after the procedure. After one week, sunlight is okay but we highly advise a strong sunscreen be worn at all times. We recommend SPF Elta MD UV Clear 46 . This is a great hypoallergenic sunscreen with strong Zinc Oxide that helps prevent any pigmentation or hyperpigmentation, or dark spots. We also recommend that the area of the treatment stay dry for 3 days after the treatment. After this, we do recommend keeping the area clean by washing with a gentle soap and water in the morning and night.

What are the complications and risks to mole removal treatments?2024-05-13T02:56:42+00:00

There are very few and rare risks to your mole removal treatments. For context, we treat thousands of mole removal patients every single year, and approximately less than 1% of patients have adverse reactions. Our physicians are highly trained surgeons with years of medical experience who provide the very best medical care. You are safe with us! For your knowledge, there can be some negative side effects which would include: bleeding, scarring such as keloids, infections, nerve damage (very, very rare) and/or recurrence of the mole cells. If anything does happen, our medical team will support you then entire way until all your problems are resolved positively. Please keep in mind that light bleeding at the treated area is normal and should not be a cause for concern. Simply put light pressure on the treated area with a clean tissue paper for 5-10 minutes until bleeding subsides. Then, you can reapply a bandage. Sometimes, patients may experience some slight pain after the procedure and may also take over the counter pain medications. This pain should go away within a few hours. If your treated area starts to feel hot to touch, or there is extreme redness or swelling, then you should contact our office immediately. However, most of the time you will have no complications and leave a happy, healthy patient!

Why do moles grow and appear? 2024-04-25T23:34:53+00:00

Moles are known in the medical field as melanocytes that grow throughout the skin. They typically produce melanin, a pigment that gives it color. They can grow for a variety of reasons throughout a person’s life and a few reasons are shared next. Moles may appear around times when your hormone level changes, for example aging or pregnancies or menopause. Additionally, people with light toned skin are prone to develop more moles. Other reasons include genetics, meaning that if your family members had them, like your parents, then you are more likely to develop moles too. Most moles emerge on your body during childhood and adolescence, and may change in size or color as you grow older. Most are also small to medium sized, typically ½ to ¼ inches in diameter and range in color from brow, tan, black, and pinkish in color. We call moles that you are born with, congenital moles and moles that appear after birth, acquired moles or common moles. When you are born with a larger congenital mole also known as a congenital nevus, you should always seek examination by a medical doctor because they have a greater risk of becoming malignant in adulthood. It is wise to always monitor all your moles for changes in size, color, shape or pain. Other more rare reasons that you may develop moles are: a response to drugs that suppress your immune system, other drugs like antibiotics, genetic mutations, sunburns, sun exposure, tanning bed use and more.
